I wasn't really in the market for one per se, but a now discontinued P227 came up for sale at a price I couldn't refuse.

It's basically a P220 .45 but with a double stack magazine. Had to have it.

Not a huge .45 guy, but it fills a niche. I'd like to end up with one of all the Sig models...except the P224. Fuck the P224.

Not a 45 guy aa well, but thats a good one to have. I keep wanting to scratch the itch as well but just keep adding 9mm pistols.

    Maybe a 1911 9mm. Or a 10mm. I miss my 10mm

Nice, you tear down that SIG stuff and you can really see the quality work they do on them right out of the factory.

Huge SIG fan, especially the Classic line. I like the modular stuff too, but the tupperware guns in general aren't my favorite regardless of how good they are.

    Sooooo tempting.

Those Tula Made mags I've seen go for double that price.

I stocked up on 30 bakelite mags about 5 years ago and paid $19 ea for izzy made and $29ea for tula made.

At $70 it's a really fair deal in today's Bakelite collectors world

Nice but I really dislike that style grip.

Picked up a 229 a few months ago. It was a Talo edition with the standard style grip. Love it.

Me neither but I have a 1911 for each hand and a .45 long Colt I've has traced back to one of Custers Indian Scouts.

I have an extended mag for one of the 1911s. The first time I shot it I couldnt believe how far it thru me off. I thought someone had jacked with my sights. Then I out the standard mag back in was nail driving again.
