A friend got one and had a fender bender - not many certified Tesla repair shops around; check your area first. She had to wait 3 weeks until it could even be looked at.

If the answer to one of the problems with a Telsa is to "rent a real car" in some situations like long road trips, then I think I will just keep buying real cars. :dontknow:

Thats what Ive been saying for so long now. ANd Tesla is a smaller percentage of EV's. Im talking about all the Prius's and Fords and etc., running around for over a decade now. <battery minerals>A majority of it was coming from China and all these little kids were recruited to scrape those harmful metals to put in your prius. This EV car is a two headed threat. The flip side also is the fact that disposing of these batteries are a serious hazard as well. If you collected and dumped these exahusted batteries and put them in a good size landfill? Its like a small nuclear detonation over there! The half-life of these radiating batteries is like a thousand years.

EV is nott heway to go folks. That's the other thing I've been saying. Honda released the tech on a hydrogen vehicle in the 2000's. They never pursued it to this day the cost is too much. It was a limited release in SoCal where they had a few fueling stations for them and the car's were in lease.

It might have a second resurgence

To point #4 - I believe their switchgear is sourced from MB.

The original concept of the model 3 was a $35,000 EV. Tesla released only the fully-loaded $50,000+ versions of the car at first for higher profits.

It is unclear if Tesla even makes money on each car at $35,000. It's kind of goofy because unless you drive a black car there is an upcharge for paint.

There are barely no switches - 90% of the car controls are touch screen driven.

The most expensive Tesla has no leather trim.

No need to install a home charger, your dryer outlet will pump in 20miles an hour.

Homes may not have a dryer outlet close.

Then you have to leave doors/open at night to run the cord.

If that's the case, you can use a regular outlet and get 4 miles per hour, get home at 5pm and leave at 6am you'd get 44 miles. If you can charge at work, oh shiiittt.

Has potential, but looks as if someone skipped over "aerodynamics" in the instructions manual.

Elon Musk has a lot of haters. Why I dunno I guess he talks about the environment. Tesla is one of two American car manufacturers that has never declared bankruptcy more power to them
