Yes, I know. "You're a fag for liking them, they suck!" I've heard it all before. You think that if I didn't actually think they made some really good music that I'd confess to liking them? Fuck you and your close-mindedness. "One Week" did suck, it was a gay ass poppy bullshit song and I used to judge them based on that as well, but then I heard a song of theirs on a movie soundtrack, which intrigued me because it didn't sound anything like I thought it would based on "One Week."

So, I got an album, and I liked it. Then I got their next one, and I liked that. Then, I started getting their older ones, and guess what? I liked them. Soon enough, I was a fan. There's something wrong with you all if you can call a band like Mumford & Sons good (which is like an English Dave Matthews Band) but the Barenaked Ladies gay. In this thread, I will present to you evidence that the Barenaked Ladies (BNL) are indeed a good band with some great music. Onto Exhibit A, highlights from their debut album Gordon, released in 1992:

(You must forgive the music video quality, they're Canadian and this was off of their first album)

They don't suck, but you're gay for swinging from their nuts so hard.

    I don't think they're gay.

If they were called Barenaked Men I would think otherwise.

And now, we move onto BNL's third album -- 1996's Born On A Pirate Ship:
