Concerts (and mostly the bands in them) are a product of their time. Wanting to see a past concert is nearly the same as wishing you were born in another era which I have never understood. There has never been a better time in my life than right this second, I dont want to go back for anything.

Any Black Sabbath show from 75 or 76. They were all at the top of their game at that point.

    The Stones weren't at Woodstock.

That's why they did the Altamont show. They decided not to go to Woodstock because they thought it'd be a disaster. They felt like they missed out on a seminal rock show of the generation, so they made their own live, free outdoor rock show... and it was a disaster.

Here are the band's I would have loved to see in their primes:

    ACDC with Bon Scott
    Queen
    Ike and Tina Turner review
    Any Beatles show
    Sly and the Family Stone
Louis Prima Orchestra featuring Keely Smith
The Rat Pack in Las Vegas

Hendrix and Band of Gypsies at Fillmore East New Year's Eve, 1969. Could have had tickets but passed. :(
