When I was a kid, one our neighbors was from Liverpool. She saw the Beatles at the Cavern Club when she was a teenager. I’d take that.

Absolutely. How about being in the audience at the Ed Sullivan Show. But old enough to appreciate it!

That's the funny thing: when the stones "were in their prime", they were ragged because of all the booze and drugs. The music was powerful, but also sloppy at times.

They may be older now, but the performances are really tight. And they're not "mailing it in" at all--they come out on the attack, like they still have something left to prove. It's really incredible how they just keep going.

I was told that Keith doesn't play all his chords anymore. So this past tour I saw them 4 times and I really paid attention to Keith and he 100% doesn't play all his chords anymore. But he a has backup and he has someone picking him up.

Still they are putting on better performances than 93% of the acts out there at their ages. Greatest Rock n Roll band ever

There’s a now closed club here in town called Stache and Little Brothers that was on the Ohio State campus where I was lucky enough to catch REM, Chili Peppers, and Nirvana over the years. Place was in a little strip mall and held maybe 150 people.

I’ve seen them around 20 times over the past 40 years. I bought a pit ticket for the DC show July 3rd. Drove 7 hours each way because I had shit to do on July 4 here at home. 500 dollar ticket, 108 dollar Ticketmaster charge, 65 bucks to park, 75 bucks for gas, and a 45 dollar T-shirt for my friend. Best 800 dollar night of my life. Fuck it! You only live once. Those fuckers are still the greatest!

Then how about $5 a month for dawgshed, ya cheap hippie bastard :jj:

I've only seen them once - MSG in '69. Mind blowing show. Wish I'd seen them more back in the day, but I can't do big arenas, no interest.
