Why The Hell Has Richard And Sal Gotten Muzzled Over The Past Couple Of Years?

Did it start when Sal started heckling Beff? They were key players at one point and very big on the HowardTv segments,one only hopes that when the Stern Show is finally over they can make some moves and make something happen. I hope that they are still holding back their best prank calls for their own release without PC Stern influences to stop them from being edgy. Sal was at the last block party I seen on Twitter,everyone is doing it recently including Tim's assistant It makes you wonder if they are all grabbing every dollar they can because they know the end has arrived.

 

I'm afraid it is because they suck. Do you want more stupid skits like the opera singing?

 

It seems Howard is more interested in utilizing his office/staff as talent.

Howard doesn't think most of their stuff is funny. They're too non-P.C. for Hamptons Howie.

 

If Sal enters the studio, it's difficult to avoid the subject of oversized, over-white fake teeth.

 

i bet its because people are getting sick of hearing Sal and Richard appear gay on mike.

 

Because Howard has a grand piano in his mouth. Sal's look more normal than Howard's.

Call me crazy, but I think it's pretty obvious Howard has something to do with it. There is no good reason to bring in Bigfoot Jr. if you trust either Sal or Richard in the studio; he knows Sal has no filter and will call him out on the bullshit (i.e. with the chiclets) so he just keeps them on the payroll and shuts them down. Bigfoot Jr. isn't stupid enough to speak out against the wig.

 

Sal is by far the funniest person on that shit show. Him and Richard are infinitely funnier and more entertaining than Howard + Benjy + Fred + Robin.

Howard's afraid that they will take off on their own.

I think R&S's muzzling started when Sal was recorded saying that him and Richard are already preparing pranks for when the show is over. Howard got really pissed over that.

 

Always wanted to hear/read someone ask Howard when he is going back to the dentist to have the black keys installed.

 

Howard was also forced to realize that Richard doesn't need the show. He has skills as a drummer and is respected as a musician. Unlike many of the no-talent barnacles in the back office, Richard will survive without Stern. Richard is in-studio is death. He takes what Howard & Robin attack him with (e.g. Robin's rant when he pointed out she wasn't driving to the studio during Sandy) and doesn't crumble or wildly lash back like Ronnie, Scott,etc. He's not carving out a Z-list celebrity persona.

 

I love Richard and Sal. They are awesome. I still spend a lot of time listening to their prank calls on Youtube.

Good point. Although BigFoot Jr. did call him out on the PC shit. He said something like "I didn't know this was a PC show it is" after Howard told him not to use the word "Faggot".

Thats why they stopped the Friday show. The best part of the Friday show was Sal/Richard on the sound effects/ and playing their rejected bits.
But no. Howard killed it. "people wants to listen to MEEEEEE. Best of a 3 day week is amazing".

Howards PC march started during the Gary roast. Sal roasting Beth.
Beth clamped down her hooves even calling into the show and hanging up when Sal did a horse sound.

 

I so hate the tradio bullshit that if I could find the stations they prank I'd tell the hosts to repeat zoo za zoo everytime they call, repeatedly. That would stop that lame ass shit real fast.
